Poirier and Chandler were recently going after each other, they were also spotted getting physical at UFC 277.
The beef really started when Chandler doesn’t mention Poirier’s name at UFC 274 post-fight octagon interview. He literally called every top lightweight but didn’t mention Poirier. which made Poirier to go after him.
Also, the Lightweight title will be a line at UFC 280. So, probably the winner of Poirier and Chandler possibly fight next for the lightweight title.
