UFC’s top lightweight Beneil Dariush has spoken up about Dustin Poirier vs. Michael Chandler.
Dustin Poirier and Michael Chandler are set to fight on UFC 281 which takes place on November 12, 2022, at the Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Speaking to MMA reporter Helen Yi, Beneil Dariush has given his thoughts on Poirier vs. Chandler UFC 281 bout.
I think it’s five rounds for sure I would lean towards Dustin Poirier I would say 80% Dustin Poirier. But if it’s three rounds then I’m gonna go like 60-40 kind of deal.
I lean towards Dustin only because Michael Chandler focused so much on being exciting i think he actually gives up a lot of his skill sets. i think he can do way better than he has done.
heis what 2-2 in UFC? i think he could be undfeated right now if he had better mindset. but he’s so focused on being entertaining and exciting he has lost two fights and so that’s why i am leaning towards Dustin.
Beneil Dariush
Michael Chandler no doubt is a top entertaining fighter with vicious knockout power and always willing to push himself to get that finish.
Many assume the winner of this fight gets the next title shot but it is also a complex situation for UFC as there is Justin Gaethje and Beneil Dariush fighting next on UFC 280.
