Bantamweight champ Aljamain Sterling has responded to Dana White’s disappointment with the Yan-Sterling rematch result.
Dana White believed that fight was 3-2 in favor of Peter Yan, But he also said that it is on how the first round was scored.
“I thought the judges blew that one; I had it 3-2 the other way. I don’t know how you guys scored it, but I guess it’s all in how you score that first round.”

No doubt it was a close fight, They both had their moments, but Aljo secured most of the fight by holding Yan with his body lock.
Many fans and pros criticized Aljo because he was losing heavy on his feet and could not do significant damage even after holding Yan on the ground.
Responding to Dana’s comments, Aljo explained that because everyone was so high on Yan, everyone was disappointed when they heard the result.
“Dana’s not a judge, And again, I think everyone was so high on Yan: ‘Yan by anything he wants!’ ‘Yan by murder!’ ‘Oh, I can’t believe Aljo’s training so hard. Yo, you look so good. You’re shredded. And by the way, Yan by murder.’ And it’s like, oh, wow. The first time I read it, it was good, and then everyone kind of started recycling the same joke.”

Yan looked great in that fight, but he underestimated the wrestling ability of Aljamain Sterling.
Aljo being smart, immediately called out TJ Dillashaw to avoid any talks of a trilogy bout with Peter Yan.
