Bantamweight champ Aljamain Sterling claims his opponent Petr Yan is afraid of him and would submit him in round one.
Replying to one of his critics on Twitter who believes Yan will submit Aljo in round three, Aljo said, “Personally I think I sub him in 1.”
Later in another tweet, Aljamain Sterling claimed that Yan is a cheater and afraid of him.
It seems like Aljamain wants people to believe in him as everyone saw how he was dominated in their first fight, and that’s why he has been saying such things for months now.
Aljo also trolled fans who believe Yan is much better than him; he wrote, ‘The most broken and broke ppl that put money on him, I love that think he’s that much better than me. Will make for the perfect “I told ya so” moment.’
Aljo and Yan fought at UFC 259, Where Yan dominated most of the fight but still lost that fight by throwing an illegal knee to head when Aljo was on the ground.
Since then, Aljo has been taking his time to prepare himself for killer Yan; He also postponed his previously scheduled bout with Yan citing neck surgery. Many people believe it was an excuse because he was not prepared.
After a year, They are finally scheduled to fight again at UFC 273. let’s hope they would get this happening this time, hopefully, and UFC will have undisputed Bantamweight king.
