Former title challenger, Gilbert Burns is still looking for an opponent for the UFC Brazil card.
He reveals he was offered Jorge Masvidal three times but he argues that Masvidal made excuses every time even after accepting to fight in December.
“Just letting everyone know that @ufc offered me @GamebredFighter 3x First time was for Nov 12. He said he needs more time, the second time on Dec 10 he said he was going to(Brazil) to fight me and now he just said no again! 🤷🏾♂️ so I guess the B from his BMF belt doesn’t stand for bad.”

Burns and Masvidal, both have lost their last bout and currently at the situation of must win to retain their top welterweight status. especially for Masvidal who is 2-3 in his last five bouts.
UFC 283 will be hosted in Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on January 21, 2023. Gilbert being one of the biggest star from Brazil wants to be a part of this card.
