
Cain Velasquez was recently jailed for involvement in a shooting where one man was left injured.
Till now, it is not clear how he was involved; online records checked by MMA Junkie reveal he was held at the County of Santa Clara Department of Corrections without bail and were no charges listed against him.

The shooting happened at the intersection of Monterey Hwy and Bailey Ave. The injured person was shot once and had nonlife threatening injuries. The San Jose police media Twitter handle provided updates on the case.

Cain Velasquez is former UFC heavyweight champion and teammate of Daniel Cormier and Khabib Nurmagomedov at the American kickboxing academy.
Cain was last fought in UFC back in 2019, where he suffered KO loss to current heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou. Since then, he made his way to professional wrestling in WWE.
